What I liked

Fantastic setting and work ethic with plenty of room to grow. Great employees who have passion for what they do along with a great VP and President of the company.

What I wish was different

I wish that that I could have ended later in the year, which I would have been able to if I was located closer during the school year.

Advice

That no matter what, an internship will provide fantastic real world experience. Even if it is not in the area you want to go in, there is no such thing as a bad internship in college.

What I liked

Learning about the company and creating new skills worth transferring in the future. I like taking to people which gave me an advantage to network with almost the whole city and small business owners.

What I wish was different

The transportation to getting to my job was always busy with traffic. Also, the housing situation was not organized like i needed for the summer. There was nothing else in regards of it being a good internship.

Advice

Try not to worry to much on how you will perform but keep in mind on how you can help others on making the work experience better for everyone. Talk to more people within the company to network on other better opportunities.

I learned a lot about banking and how it operates. I also learned how to open accounts and close safe boxes.

What I wish was different

I wish that the location I was placed at was much busier.

One piece of advice would be to be open-minded, at first I thought banking was not something I would be interested in but turns out, I really enjoyed doing it.

What I liked

I loved being able to apply the skills that I have been learning in school to a hands-on learning experience. It was great being able to network with many people within the organization. I enjoyed being able to work on multiple projects to get different perspectives within the company.

What I wish was different

I wish that this internship was fully in person. I worked remotely for most of the summer, besides a volunteer event and an office tour.

Advice

One piece of advice that I would share about this experience would be to really take advantage of the opportunities placed in front of you. Network as much as possible and meet as many people within the organization as possible.
