For Idaho, it’s a great pay. Training is clear, and the fast pace makes long shifts go by quickly. Among lower level employees there’s a strong team culture, and opportunities to build quality friendships with coworkers.
What I wish was different
After several management shifts as well as changes in corporate policy, it began to feel like lower level employees were tools and not people.
They avoid paying benefits by drastically cutting hours if team members get close to approaching full time. The pay can be inconsistent because of this unless you’re ready to fight to pick up extra shifts beyond your department.
Advice
It’s a demanding retail experience with a large team of employees. Aside from your immediate superior you shouldn’t expect much support or attention from management. There’s a definite corporate feel, so it’s important to have strong connections with your peers.

What I liked
I liked working with the guests and being part of a team. I liked doing things independently and feeling like I had control.
What I wish was different
Sometimes shift changes can be sloppy and sometimes it feels like there’s no room for growth. Other times there is no supervisor around to help you when you need it.
Advice
It’s a good job, just do what you need to do and you’ll be fine. I recommend this employer highly.
