Social Media Manager Intern - Music Industry

About the Job
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager Intern to develop and execute our social media strategy, enhance our brand presence online, and connect with fans through innovative content. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the music industry while working closely with a growing creative team.

Location: Los Angeles Office (on-site, hybrid options available)
Employment Type: Part-Time Internship (Paid or Unpaid, depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media campaign performance, using insights to optimize strategies.
  • Edit videos, images, and reels to maintain a consistent visual brand identity.
  • Craft compelling brand narratives to engage audiences and tell our story.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and build an active online community.
  • Collaborate with influencers and industry leaders to establish meaningful partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to keep us ahead of the curve.
  • Comfort and experience speaking in front of the camera to create UGC is a major plus.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to capture and create dynamic content.

Qualifications

  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Proficiency in editing tools for videos, images, and reels.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and trends.
  • Passion for music and familiarity with the music industry.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Experience with digital marketing techniques like SEO/SEM is a bonus but not required.
  • Working towards or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
