Inventory and Data Management Intern
About Us:
Fabrics World USA is a dynamic retail fabric company, providing top-quality fabrics to designers and businesses. We are currently undertaking an exciting inventory management transformation, and we're seeking a motivated Inventory Management Intern to help drive this process forward.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cataloging fabric rolls using basic inventory management software and label printers.
- Move fabric rolls into position for photography (some lifting required).
- Enter handwritten data into the system accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and track inventory using new software tools.
- Participate in improving and streamlining inventory capture processes.
- Gain hands-on experience in inventory management and learn how small business operations function.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and ability to read handwritten information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move fabric rolls (up to 30lbs).
- Openness to learning new software tools and processes (training provided).
- Ability to take feedback well and adapt to new tasks.
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program.
