Student Intern Talent Acquisition Associate
Henry Ford Health is seeking a Student Intern Talent Acquisition Associate to join our HR team and support our recruitment efforts. In this role, you will help identify and engage potential candidates, build talent pipelines, and contribute to the overall hiring process. If you have strong networking skills, experience sourcing candidates through social media, and a passion for learning about different roles, we’d like to meet you!
Interns are expected to commit 20 to 30 hours per week to Talent Acquisition and we are looking for individuals that would be interested in working as an intern for 6 to 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Slack, GitHub).
- Craft and send recruitment emails to prospective candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search) to identify qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Track and measure recruitment metrics, including conversion rates from passive candidates to hires.
- Leverage employee and external referrals to identify top talent.
- Promote Henry Ford Health’s employer brand both online and offline.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Reconnect with past applicants regarding new opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Enrolled in college/university preferably majoring in Human Resources.
- Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.
- Effective time-management abilities.
